(More customer reviews)I bought this pad to treat a suspected muscle strain in my arm.It only has two settings, but that is all I needed.Gives good heat when needed or a low heat for deeper penetration over a longer period of time.Because of the design, it is not soft and flexible like your normal Drug Store heating pad.And while this pad covers a large surface area, you may have to look into their specific area heating pads to better fit the part of the body wanting to heat.(The shoulder heating pad might have been better for me).Unfortunately in my case, it appears I have a shoulder joint problem and I am currently looking into an ultrasound device to use in conjunction with with the heating pad.The far infrared technology and the price though Amazon helped in my purchase.Great follow-up from the MendMeShop.
