(More customer reviews)I've tried similar fixed-height extenders made from dense foam, as well as inversion and traction devices, and this one has them all beat.The unit is definitely very portable, and having 3 levels of adjustment is very nice.Though it does take a bit of strength to set it in the highest position, it's not a major issue.The instructions are thorough and include multiple variants for different levels of stretch.The effectiveness of spending 5-10 minutes a day relaxing on this is amazing, and I am completely free from back pain.This is definitely my favorite new toy, and considering it costs less than 2 trips to the chiropractor, it's a great investment.

I was reviewing my reviews this evening, and yes, this is still one of my favorite possessions.I don't need to use it much these days, but I still have it and it could be sold "as new", not that I would.I really wish more products were constructed with this level of excellence and durability.Thank you to the team behind this product.

(More customer reviews)I just had to write to you to thank you for your amazing products.I just had neck surgery on c5/6 and c6/7.I was warned that the pain in my shoulders would be intense but I had no idea how intense it would be.While in the hospital, I was on morphine and muscle relaxers.I swear these barely took the pain down a notch.My doctor told me that my pain would be worse then most because of the type of work that they had to do to the surrounding discs and the strain it was putting on the ligaments and muscles.Fortunately, I already had your Back Soothe (and Night Time Leg Calm just to name a few of my favorites!).My husband would rub your Back Soothe onto my back, & shoulders and I just don't know if I could have taken the pain without your oil.It was a lifesaver.I am so grateful I can't put it into words.... (More customer reviews)After 20 years working in physical therapy, one thing I know about back pain is that what is helpful for one person may not be for others because of the multitude of causes.I decided to try the Back2Life because of the 30-day return offer.Although it didn't help me, the product is well made and I can see how it might be helpful for some people, especially for relaxing muscle spasm.

HOWEVER,...I found the company lacking in integrity when it came to returning the machine. After spending 45 minutes on 3 occasions trying to get through the "Return" line, I had to endure very high pressure to try it for "an additional 30 days".I relented and tried for the extended period without improvement and, since I was nearing the end of 60 days tried to return it.Turns out they give the 30 days extra from when you call to return it rather than adding an actual 30 days to your original time period.They were very stubborn about not taking it back even though I was only 2 days over "their" extension (but under 60 days).

Bottom line, possibly a decent machine, but the company is interested in getting your money by any means they can, rather than being satisfied to make their profit from satisfied customers. Be careful!(And if you need to return it, choose the "want to purchase" option on the phone rather than the "return" option--they will pick up right away rather than leaving you on hold forever.)

However, I would advise working with a qualified Iyengar trained yoga teacher, to find the best ways to work with this.If you are very stiff, or new to yoga, you will need to modify at first.

(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure which neck support would be best for my neck pain, so I bought both of them.

Both products have their plus & minus but on balance I prefer the Therapeutic Neck Support by North American Healthcare over the Dr. Riter's Real-Ease Neck & Shoulder Relaxer.

The TNS by NAH looks like the NECK AND BACK STRETCHER
Other Get Organized products so they may be the same. I don't know.

The TNS is more stable, it doesn't rock as easily as the Real-Ease Neck Relaxer.
It is also a bit firmer (ie the cushion feels like it supports the normal lordotic curvature of the cervical spine). The downside for some may be that it may feel too firm, but that firmness is what set it apart from the Real-Ease product. After 15-20 minutes of resting on it, I did feel less pain in my neck. The Real-Ease is quite soft, very relaxing but I didn't feel it was therapeutic. It does rock very easily, so if one falls asleep laying on it, there may be a risk of rocking to the side abruptly. This risk can be mitigated by slipping a small roll shaped pillow or rolled towel under the plastic tongue in the front.
Overall, both appear to be quality products in my opinion.
