The product did not cause much upward pull on the toe area, so there is little or no dorsiflexion or "stretch" along the bottom of the foot. I tried to connect the straps higher on my friend's leg to get more upward pull, but the product didn't allow that.

As it is, the straps tend to pull on a line along the foot, not from above it. Have a close look at the photo to see what I mean.The product is soft and comfortable and could keep the foot at a 90-degree angle; that is, it could keep the foot from dropping down.
