(More customer reviews)I have used different brands of heating pads and none of them come close to the quality of this one.I have used it for several weeks for back and neck pain and the heat is much more penetrating and longer lasting.It's much heavier than commercial heating pads and that weight keeps it in place.The higher temps are only good for short intense bursts.If you lay on it as opposed to laying it on you then the heat is trapped and will sometimes be too hot even at the lowest setting.If putting heat on your area of pain causes more pain than it may be possible that heat is not the needed therapy.This is a medical grade heating pad meant for therapeutic usage.I am hoping it lasts a long time!
