(More customer reviews)As a percussionist, I love to experiment with different stick types...You know, something different than your typical old wooden drumsticks.Well, I was somewhat dissapointed with the imbalance of weight with this product.This was probably attributed to the fact that the tips were rather oversized.I thought the larger tips would yield a more powerful sound, but they actually sounded muffled.But I did find that these sticks were effective when struck on the gong; the sound was gentle, yet thrustful: a beautiful paradox in the mind of a truly creative musician.So if you play the gong, I highly recommend these; otherwise, stick with the wood.
